TFA

The TFA Triple Volute ANSI Pump:

The LaBour TFA Series pumps are manufactured for a wide range of flow and head requirements and meet the latest ASME and ANSI B73.1 specifications.


The TFA Series combines high efficiency, maximum performance, lower vibration and shaft deflection resulting in extended MTBF (mean time between failure) for reduced maintenance cost.

Typical Applications

The TFA ANSI-standard pump will handle corrosive, toxic viscous and abrasive process liquids such as acids, bases and liquids with entrained air/vapor.

The LaBour LVB/ANSI Process Pump:

The LaBour model LVB / ANSI standard pumps are manufactured for a wide range of fl ow and head requirements and meet the latest ASME and ANSI B73.1M specifi cations. The LVB combines high effi ciency, maximum performance, and extended mean time between failure (MTBF) for reduced aintenance cost.

 

Typical Applications
The LVB / ANSI-standard pump will handle corrosive, toxic and abrasive process liquids such

as acids, bases and solvents. This pump can be found in Chemical, Petro-chemical, Pulp & Paper, Plastic, Refining and Pharmaceutical plants.

 

Features
The LVB casing is a self venting, top centerline discharge with a fully confined gasket. Class
150 lb. FF fl anges standard, optional Class 150 lb. RF and both FF and RF Class 300 lb. available. All ductile iron and 316SS casings are supplied with casing drains, and is optional on all other alloys. In addition an optional Casing Wear Extender™ is available on all XLTP and 10” and 13” MTP frame sizes. The Wear Extender can be provided in wear resistant materials, such as CD4MCu.

LHLA/LPLA

The LHLA/LPLA Back Pull-Out, Self-Priming Pump:

All of LaBour’s self-priming pumps operate with the “Hydrobalance Principle”; air is evacuated from suction lines without the use of auxiliary equiment.


The LHLA/LPLA series pumps are back pull-out construction and use the ASME/ANSI B73.1 LVA series shaft and power end.

  • Every LHLA/LPLA series pump offers both rapid priming time and high lift capabilities.

Taber Vertical

Taber Series Vertical Sump Pumps:

Heavy construction and rugged advanced design techniques throughout insure high performance and long, trouble-free service life. Vertical pumps are self-priming and self-venting. Hazards of bottom tank openings are eliminated. Space is conserved. Fugitive emissions are effectively controlled with various options and accessories.

 

Typical Applications
Choice of Series 1000, 2000, or 8000 Taber Vertical Pumps. Optional Duplex Construction or Jacketed Construction. Duplex option used where flow requirements can vary or a standby pump is required. Jacketed option allows handling liquids that solidify or become highly viscous at ambient temperatures. Level controls option where liquid levels vary, requiring starting and stopping of the pump.


Outside Mounting is used where it is impractical to mount the pump inside a tank, as on toxic, ultra pure and flammable liquids, or in a glass lined tank. Where intermediate bearings are used, auxiliary flush lines from the pump discharge are used to cool and lubricate the bearings.

 

Features

  • Rugged vertical design: Rugged construction provides long MTBPM and long service life.
  • Pump thrust bearing: Since pump thrust is not carried by the motor, standard P-base motors and flexible couplings can be used.
  • Impeller adjustment above support plate: Allows for impeller adjustment with pump installed, reducing maintenance and adjustment time.

  • Oversized shaft diameters: Large shaft diameter minimizes deflection, provides longer MTBPM and better shaft/bearing stability.
  • All metal construction: Strength and durability from a wide range of alloys to handle a wide range of liquids.
  • Strainer: Optional for waste sumps to keep trash out of impeller and casing.
  • Heavy duty support plates: Thicker support plates offer a longer service life due to more stiffness and vibration damping effect.
